Transparency: Quarterly balance sheet

By - in

As is the case throughout the year, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo is publishing its new quarterly balance sheet, which can be found at the link below or in the menu bar on the official website. The document shows that the club reduced its deficit by 57% compared to the same period last year, amounting to R$21,08 million. However, the situation still showed a deficit of R$2013 million for the first nine months of 9,0.

This improvement is directly linked to the increase in revenue from new sponsorship contracts, the increase in revenue from game ticket sales and the Sócio Torcedor Program, with net operating revenue increasing by 23,5%.

The Club presented a decrease of R$80 million in operating liabilities, currently at R$650 million (R$730 million in December 2012), with this reduction coming mainly from the payment of taxes and suppliers, decreasing bank debt which grew by R$7 million.

As can be seen, Flamengo's financial situation is more comfortable than that presented at the end of the 2012 financial year, but still far from a stability that allows the Club to honor all its commitments with ease.

We are working hard to improve the processes and transparency of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.
