Vice president of IBM takes over Flamengo's IT
Pedro Almeida, who is responsible for the company in Rio, now heads the club's technology department.
By Communication - Official Club Website - inPedro Almeida began his career at IBM very young, at the age of 22, in 1988. Throughout his time at the company, he has almost always worked in sales—first in finance, then in retail, and finally in industrial.
At IBM, the executive also held the positions of Industrial Sector Director for Latin America and Smart Cities Director. In the latter role, Pedro was responsible for projects in an area considered one of the pillars of the company's global strategy.
The executive holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He also holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets and a specialization in the same field from Harvard Business School.
