This month, a big party in Gávea was celebration of Maestro Junior's 60th birthdayOn the field, idols from across the decades; in the stands, the Charanga Rubro-Negra played fan favorites. The event brought together friends of the birthday boy—perennial soccer stars—on a special occasion, with the new locker rooms and the new FIFA-standard Gávea pitch as the stage. "I wanted to do something simple, informal, in my home, with the important people who have been part of my story. It's a privilege and a great pleasure to bring these people together," said Junior. The Maestro also spoke about the excitement of returning to Flamengo to presenter Karol Di Nassif.

Idols like Zico, Jayme, Andrade, Adílio, Julio César, and Leonardo paid their respects. In the stands, Flamengo fans congratulated Junior, who captained the winning team (8-6).
