A club survey shows that today, 85% of athletes under 13 years old in field soccer schools graduated from futsal. Speaking to TV Fla, the indoor soccer coordinator shared this impressive number, as well as the players in the current squad who started with the heavy ball. Negueba, Luiz Antônio, Fernando, and Frauches began their careers in futsal, as did past stars such as Zico, Julio César, Uri Geller, and Adílio. With its reduced dimensions, the court allows young athletes to hone their touch and ball control.
