The day at the APAE-RIO headquarters, in Tijuca, North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, was happier this Friday (27.08). Through Flamengo's biggest idol, the current football director, Zico, the Rubro-negro donated interactive and therapeutic toys, which will be used in the daily lives of the exceptional people served at the institution.

In addition to the 'gifts,' Zico brought smiles to everyone present at the meeting, which marked the end of National Week for People with Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities. The Galinho de Quintino, helpful as usual, made a point of emphasizing the importance of social actions, especially involving public figures like himself.

Then, to end with a flourish, Zico also presented three official shirts, donated by Juan, David and Ronaldo Angelim, to APAE-RIO for auction, with proceeds going to the institution.

Flamengo had already launched a campaign to support APAE-RIO, and donations, which are being collected at the club's headquarters in Gávea, will be sent to the institution next week. Additionally, approximately 30 women, members of the "Fla-mulher" group, will volunteer at APAE.
