Last Wednesday (23.04), Flamengo thrashed Duque de Caxias 6-0 away at Marrentão stadium. This was the third consecutive victory for the Rubro-Negro, who are undefeated in the Taça Rio, the return leg of the U-20 Carioca Championship. Douglas Baggio is the team's top scorer with 13 goals in the competition. The goals were scored by Cafu (2), Jajá, Douglas, Caio Rangel and Trindade, who scored a great goal into the corner from outside the box.

Douglas Baggio congratulated the team on their performance in the emphatic victory. "Our team made the game easy, we entered with the mindset of killing it right from the start. The first half ended 3-0 to us, and we continued our rhythm in the second half and scored three more," he said.

The under-20s' next match is against Friburguense, on Saturday (26.04), at 15 pm, at the Nivaldo Pereira stadium.
