On the afternoon of last Saturday (02.11), at the opponent's home, the under-20 team beat Serra Macaense 2-0, with goals from strikers Igor Sartori and Eduardo, in a game valid for the third round of the second phase of the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament (OPG). Before the clash, the two teams shared the lead in group E. Now, Mais Querido leads alone, with seven points won.
"The pitch was pretty bad, but our team played really well and scored two goals in the first half. Then, in the second half, we just had to manage the result," said Igor Sartori.
Next Wednesday (November 06.11th), the second round of the second phase will begin. At 15:30 pm, at the Gávea headquarters, Flamengo will face Bangu. In the first round, the match between the two teams ended with a 4-1 victory for the red-black team.
