The Garotos do Ninho, led by coach Marcio Torres, face Coritiba away from home in a match that could see them qualify for the Brazilian Championship semifinals. A win for Flamengo will automatically secure their spot among the country's top four teams in the division. Qualification could also come with a draw or even a loss, provided Vasco and Fluminense draw in the other group game. The crucial match between Flamengo and Coritiba, the current runner-up, will be broadcast live on Globoesporte.com and SporTV.com on Wednesday, starting at 14:50 PM.

Flamengo x Botafogo - Saturday (15) at 11 am, in Gávea.
Competition: State Championship
Champion of the Evergrande Cup in China, the Dallas Cup in the United States, and the undisputed leader of the Guanabara Cup, the U-17 team led by coach Phelipe Leal takes the field on Saturday for the crucial derby against Botafogo, valid for the 22nd round of the State Championship. After beating Goytacaz 3-0 in the last round, away from home, the "Garotos do Ninho" have 55 points in 21 games, and have a great record of 16 wins, four draws, and only one loss. Interestingly, they have an incredible 13 clean sheets in the championship. A victory against Botafogo will put "Mais Querido" very close to securing first place in the qualifying stage and advancing to the Guanabara Cup semifinals with an advantage.

With an impressive comeback, Flamengo took the lead in the second half of the Guilherme Embry Tournament after a hard-fought away win against Barra da Tijuca in the final round. With only three rounds remaining in the second half, the derby against Botafogo, scheduled for Wednesday, is crucial. Whoever wins, whether in regulation or on penalties, will advance to the final two rounds with an advantage and will be very close to securing the first half title. In Flamengo's case, it would mean a bonus point for the final three-legged tie. For Botafogo, the competition title will be at stake, having already won the first half.

Competition: Metropolitan Championship
Already qualified for the quarterfinals of the Guanabara Cup in the Metropolitan Championship, the U-14 team, led by coach Leonardo Cherede, takes to the field on Wednesday for a rescheduled fourth-round duel against Volta Redonda needing a victory to maintain third place and an advantage in the quarterfinal duel of the competition.

Competition: Metropolitan Championship
The undisputed leader, despite having played a game less and already qualified for the quarterfinals of the Guanabara Cup in the Metropolitan Championship, Mengão's U-13 team, led by Leonam Kasali, returns to the field after finishing runner-up in the VR Cup last week, a competition they finished undefeated, without conceding a goal and with the best attack, for a postponed Metropolitan Championship duel against Volta Redonda. With a win, Flamengo will secure first place in the qualifying stage and will have an advantage in the knockout stages until the final round.
