The U-20 team's Garotos do Ninho (Nest Boys) once again embodied the red-and-black spirit and DNA this season, with grit and determination until the final minute, never giving up on their goals. They heroically qualified for the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament (OPG) final last Saturday. With three points and a four-goal deficit behind Olaria in the standings, the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) made history. They thrashed América in Gávea with a hat trick from Vitor Gabriel, the competition's top scorer with nine goals, and benefited from Olaria's expected stumble against Madureira in Conselheiro Galvão to reach another OPG final with high morale. The biggest champions in the history of the traditional Rio de Janeiro competition, the Garotos do Ninho are seeking their tenth title in the tournament and play the first match of the final this Saturday, against Fluminense, in Laranjeiras. The second and decisive FlaxFlu will be in Gávea, on the 24th, with the time yet to be confirmed by the Federation.

Continuing a highly successful season that has already seen them win two international competitions (the Adidas Cup in Dallas and the Evergrande Cup in China), as well as the Guanabara Cup, the U-17 team, led by coach Phelipe Leal, prevailed in the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil and, with two strong performances, eliminated São Paulo, a team many considered the favorite not only in the match but also to win the competition. With confidence high and having reached their fourth semifinal in six editions of the category's most important national competition, the Mais Querido is strengthening collectively with each game and preparing for the two matches against Santos, which will be worth a spot in the tournament's grand final, and against the winner of Palmeiras and Fluminense, who will play in the other semifinal.

The first leg between Flamengo and Santos takes place this Thursday at Vila Belmiro. The return leg will be next week, with the date, time, and location yet to be determined by the CBF. Both matches will be broadcast live on SporTV.

Flamengo x Madureira – Sunday (18) at 9 am, in Gávea.

After a 2-0 victory over São Cristóvão last Sunday with two goals from Willian, the under-13 team, led by coach Leonam Kasali, reached 15 points in the Rio Cup, practically mathematically guaranteeing their qualification for the quarterfinals of the second round of the Metropolitan Championship, the state championship for the category. This week's two matches, against Fluminense and Madureira respectively, are crucial for the "Garotos do Ninho" to improve their position in the standings and secure home advantage in the decisive stages of the competition. "Mais Querido" needs to win the Rio Cup to decide the Metropolitan Championship against Fluminense, champion of the Guanabara Cup.

Flamengo x Fluminense – Wednesday (14) at 15 pm, in Gávea.

The U-12 team of the Ninho Boys will take the field on Wednesday for a decisive match against Fluminense in the semifinals of the Rio Cup of the Metropolitan Championship, the state championship for the category. It will be a repeat of the Guanabara Cup final, which the Tricolor won on penalties. Therefore, the Red-Blacks must eliminate their opponent and win the Rio Cup against whoever wins the duel between Botafogo and Vasco to qualify for the competition's grand final.

Flamengo x Fluminense – Wednesday (14) at 16:30 pm, in Gávea.

The situation is very similar to that of the U-12 team. After losing 4-3 to Vasco in the Guanabara Cup final in a great match, the Ninho Boys need to lift the Rio Cup trophy to advance to the Metropolitan Championship final. Fluminense will once again face the Mais Querido, in a match scheduled for Wednesday in Gávea.
