With their fourth São Paulo Cup title and the Guanabara Cup title already secured this season, the Mais Querido U-20 team, led by coach Marcio Torres, will play the second and decisive game of the State Championship final against Vasco next Saturday at 16 p.m. The derby will be the preliminary round of the professional duel for the Brazilian Championship. With the 1-1 draw in the first leg, no one has an advantage going into the final. The winner takes the title. Another draw will lead to a penalty shootout.

 

 

- U-17 (Youth):

Puskas Cup - Hungary

 

Flamengo x Goytacaz - Saturday (19) at 13 pm, in Gávea

Competition: Carioca Championship (Guanabara Cup)

 

In a busy week, the category is divided into two groups for the calendar commitments. Led by coach Phelipe Leal, the main group embarked on Monday afternoon (14) for Hungary, where they will compete starting next Thursday (17) in the 11th Puskas Cup, which this year will feature the participation of major European teams. The Garotos do Ninho's debut will be against the Puskas Akadémia team, from Hungary. Next, Mais Querido faces Panathinaikos (Greece) and Bayern Munich (Germany) in the fight for a place in the tournament semifinals.

 

In Rio de Janeiro, the second group will be led by Ramon Lima and will face Goytacaz on Saturday (19) at 13 pm in Gávea, in a duel valid for the ninth round of the Taça Guanabara. At the moment, the team occupies the fourth place, with 19 points won, just one point behind the leaders Fluminense and Volta Redonda.

 

 

- U-16 (Youth):

Portuguesa x Flamengo - Tuesday (15) at 11 am, on Figueira de Melo Street

Competition: Guilherme Embry Tournament

After beating Olaria 3-0 in the debut of the competition of which they are the current champions, Flamengo faced Portuguesa on Tuesday morning (15) at the legendary Estádio da Rua Figueira de Melo, in São Cristovão. With many difficulties due to the poor condition of the pitch, the Garotos do Ninho drew 1-1 in normal time and won 5-3 in the penalty shootout, thus guaranteeing the extra point and reaching five points in the league table.

 

 

 

- Under-15 (Children):

Flamengo x Goytacaz - Saturday (19) at 15 pm, in Gávea

 

Competition: Carioca Championship (Guanabara Cup)

 

After enjoying a rare week off, coach Mário Jorge's men return to the field on Saturday for another match for the Guanabara Cup. A victory over Goytacaz at Gávea will maintain their 100% record and sole lead in the competition.
