Competition: Brazilian Championship
The Mais Querido U-20 team, led by coach Marcio Torres, returns to the field for the second phase of the Brazilian Championship, seeking to maintain its undisputed lead in Group F of the national competition, once again facing Vasco, their opponent in their last game. This time, the derby will be in Volta Redonda on Thursday at 17 p.m., again broadcast live on SporTV. After the end of the second phase, the Garotos do Ninho lead Group F with 6 points, followed by Vasco and Fluminense, with four points, and Coritiba, with three points. A victory against Vasco will put Mais Querido closer to qualifying for the semifinals of the national competition.
- U-17:
Flamengo x Villarreal (Spain) – Tuesday (28) at 8:30 am, in China
Competition: Evergrande Cup (Final)
Flamengo x América - Saturday (01) at 09 am, in Gávea.
Competition: State Championship
Just like last week, the division continues to be divided into two camps. In China, the main team, led by Phelipe Leal, secured an undefeated spot in the final of the Evergrande Cup U-17 International Football Championship after defeating Palmeiras 4-2 in the semifinal. They will repeat their opening match against Villarreal of Spain, seeking the club's fifth international youth football title in 2018 and the second for the division, which won the Dallas Cup in the first half of the year.
In Brazil, a substitute team led by Ramon Lima defeated Boavista in last weekend's round in thrilling fashion, with a memorable goal from Rodrigo Muniz from midfield in the 50th minute of the second half. This goal kept Flamengo in the lead of the Guanabara Cup with 49 points, two ahead of second-place Vasco, who have 47. Next Saturday, the Garotos do Ninho host América in Gávea at 9 a.m., seeking to maintain their lead in the fight for the third state championship in the category.
- U-16:
Flamengo x Nova Iguaçu - Wednesday (29), at 9 am, at CEFAN.
Competition: Guilherme Embry Tournament
After finishing the first half of the season in second place, just two points behind Botafogo, the U-16 team, led by coach Ramón Lima, remains in contention for its second title. The loss to Fluminense in last week's derby left the "Garotos do Ninho" team stuck at nine points, leaving them in third place in the second half of the season standings, behind Botafogo and Fluminense, who both have 12 points.
In addition to the champions of each round, the team with the best overall points record, excluding the scores of the two round champions, will also qualify for the final triangular, which will decide the champion of the 2018 Guilherme Embry Tournament. Currently, with the exclusion of Botafogo, the round champion, the Garotos do Ninho lead the overall standings with 32 points, followed by Fluminense, which has 28 points. This way, the Rubro-Negro would have a guaranteed spot in the competition's decisive triangular.

Flamengo's U-13 team, led by Mário Jorge, is currently the undisputed leader of the Guanabara Cup with a near-perfect record of 15 wins, one draw, and only one loss. They're taking a break from the State Championship after a 3-0 victory over Boavista last Saturday and turning their attention to the traditional Brazil-Japan Friendship Cup, which will take place this week at CFZ. Four-time champions of the competition (98, 05, 11, and 14) and current runners-up after losing the final of the last edition to Grêmio in overtime, the "Garotos do Ninho" (The Boys of the Nest) begin their fight for their fifth title against Grêmio, reprising the 2017 final in their 2018 tournament debut. The top two teams in the group qualify for the quarterfinals.
