After a resounding 3-0 away win in the derby against Fluminense, in the opening round of the second phase of the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament (OPG), the U-20 team, led by Mauricio Souza, returns to the field for two more matches this week, both at Gávea. Wednesday against Audax, and Saturday against Botafogo. In this stage of the competition, there are two groups of four teams each. They face each other within their groups in a home-and-away format, and at the end of the six rounds, only the leader of each group will qualify for the championship final, which will also be played in home-and-away matches. 

Flamengo x Cruzeiro - Thursday (26) at 20 pm, on Ilha do Urubu (SporTV Broadcast)

Flamengo x Botafogo - Sunday (29) at 16 pm, in Gávea

The U-17 boys' team, led by coach Márcio Torres, takes the field for two crucial matches this week. On Thursday, they host Cruzeiro at Ilha do Urubu, with live coverage on SporTV at 20 p.m. The match is part of the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals. In the previous rounds, Cruzeiro eliminated Ceará and Santos. 

With little time to rest, the Ninho Boys return to the field on Sunday, this time to face Botafogo in the second leg of the Taça Rio final. Defeated 3-2 at the Engenhão stadium, the Red-Blacks need to win by one goal to take the decision to penalties, or by two or more goals to be crowned Taça Rio champions and two-time State Championship champions outright, having also won the Taça Guanabara. 

Flamengo x Botafogo - Saturday (28), at 9 am, in Gávea.

The U-16 team, led by coach Ramon Lima, debuts in the final triangle of the Guilherme Embry Tournament, hosting Botafogo in Gávea. In this decisive stage of the competition, Flamengo, Botafogo, and Fluminense will face each other in home and away matches, with the team with the most points being crowned champion. Flamengo is fighting for its second consecutive title.  

Flamengo x Fluminense - Thursday (26) at 10 am, in Gávea

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Laranjeiras, in a game where they were far superior to their opponents from start to finish, the U-15 team led by coach Ramon Lima The team plays the second leg of the Taça Rio final at Gávea against Fluminense. Another draw will lead to a penalty shootout for the title decision. If they win, the Mais Querido will face two more matches against Fluminense, valid for the overall state final. The Rubro-Negro team is fighting for its second title in the competition.

Flamengo x Vasco - Sunday (29) at 10:40 am, in Gávea.

After defeating São Cristóvão 3-0 in the last round, the U-14 team, led by coach Mário Jorge, returns to action next Sunday, when they host Vasco da Gama in a fourth-round match of the return leg of the Rio Cup of the Metropolitan Championship. The Rubro-Negro team is tied for the lead in the first half of the season with Fluminense, with a 100% record in the nine rounds already played, and is already mathematically qualified for the quarterfinals of the competition.

Flamengo x Vasco - Sunday (29) at 9 am, in Gávea.

After a 6-0 thrashing of São Cristóvão, the U-13 team, led by Leonam Kasali, took the lead in the first half of the season, tied with Fluminense on points but with a better goal difference after nine rounds already played. The "Garotos do Ninho" host Vasco next Sunday in the penultimate round of the Taça Rio qualifying round. "Mais Querido" is already mathematically qualified for the quarterfinals of the second half of the Campeonato Metropolitano.

Flamengo x América - Sunday (29) at 14 pm, at CEFAN.

Second in group A with 18 points, the U-12 team has already qualified for the quarterfinals of the Metropolitan Championship, and in the last round they will host América, next Sunday, needing a victory to maintain second place and, theoretically, have a less complicated path in the decisive stages of the competition, which is the Carioca Championship of the category.  

Flamengo x América - Sunday (29) at 15:40 pm, at CEFAN.

Like the U-12s, the U-11s are also second in Group A, but only two points behind leaders Fluminense. A win against América in the final round still gives the Rubro-Negro, who are already mathematically qualified for the quarterfinals, a chance to finish the Metropolitan Championship qualifying stage as the overall points leader.
