In addition to the coach, the entire professional technical committee supervised the work this Thursday

Every young player's dream is to be selected among the professionals. And for that to happen, athletes often need the opportunity to be watched closely. At Flamengo, this has become routine, and this Thursday (March 04.03), Andrade once again followed the youth team.
While the under-20 team held a training session in Gávea, the professional coach, along with Marcelo Salles, his assistant, Marcos Braz, vice-president of football, Eduardo Manhães, director of football, Paulo Henrique, observer, and Tito, supervisor of the youth teams, kept an eye on the plays of the new red-black talents.
And the players were happy to be able to show their worth to Andrade. Rafael Galhardo, a right-back who played a few matches for the senior team, explains how important it is for the youth academy to have this close relationship with the first team's coaching staff.
"It's always good to show Professor Andrade your work. Training with a professional is always a great opportunity, a different and very important experience for all of us," he said.
Christianno, a defender who has been excelling in the youth ranks, is in a slightly different situation. He's never played professionally, and Fabrício, now a starter but a product of the youth academy, is his inspiration.
"It's a golden opportunity for us. Seeing other players who came through the academy playing for the first team, like Fabrício, is a huge inspiration. Just having the opportunity to wear this jersey is already a huge motivation, but training alongside the professionals, with coach Andrade there on the sidelines, is even more motivating," he explained.
Next Saturday, after nearly a month away from playing in the Rio de Janeiro Junior Championship, Galhardo, Christianno, and company will return to play an official match. The Red-Black team faces Macaé in Volta Redonda at 16 p.m. The starting lineup is expected to consist of Marcelo Carné, Galhardo, Marlon, Henrique, Christianno, and Jorbison; João Vitor, Luiz Antônio, Saba; and Dieguinho and Diego Maurício.
