After a thrashing in their debut, Flamengo faces Trindade-GO in the São Paulo Cup

Flamengo got off to a good start in the São Paulo Cup and this Sunday (05) they will face another challenge in the most famous youth competition in the country. The Rubro-Negro returns to the pitch to face Trindade-GO and arrives in high spirits after beating River-PI 4-0 in the first match of the tournament.

Striker Bill's star shone in Mais Querido's first game in the São Paulo Cup and the number 7 scored three times, in addition to providing an assist for Rodrigo Muniz to give the final numbers to the score in the red-black's first appearance in Jaguariúna.

On the eve of the second game, midfielder Luiz Henrique spoke about the preparation for the match against Trindade-GO and stated that Flamengo needs to impose itself from the moment the ball starts rolling.

"The preparation was very good. In today's training session, everyone was focused, and tomorrow we'll do everything we can to come away with the victory. Flamengo always has to impose itself, especially against a technically inferior team," commented the number 10.
