Last Friday (27.11), 40 resident athletes from Flamengo's youth soccer teams went to the Feira da Providência, a traditional Rio event, at Riocentro. The boys were accompanied by pedagogue José Nogueira, social worker Ana, intern Felipe and monitor Adalberto.

The fair's striking features are its sociocultural essence and the presence of several exhibitors from all over Brazil and other continents, offering a wide range of products for sale, workshops and presentations.

"All these aspects, along with folklore, traditions and solidarity actions, marked this visit as fundamental for the training of our athletes in the fields of citizenship, promoting leisure and expanding cultural understanding and reach," said pedagogue José Nogueira.
