This Saturday morning (2) was a double round at CEFAT. In the first game of the day, Flamengo U-15 beat Botafogo 3-1, in the 2nd round of the Copa Rio in the category. Mengão's goals were scored by Joshua, Christian and Lucas Vieira. With the result, the Garotos do Ninho achieved their first victory in the competition and have four points.  

The game
The derby started evenly, with both teams looking to attack. Botafogo had three big chances in the opening minutes. In the 12th minute, Mengão opened the scoring! David passed the ball to Joshua inside the six-yard box, and the striker simply tapped it into the net: 1-0.

In the 28th minute, Christian took a free kick from the edge of the box, and the black and white goalkeeper saved it. The Mais Querido went into halftime with the advantage.

In the second half, the Ninho Boys continued to press high, making it difficult for Botafogo to get the ball out. In the 14th minute, Mengão scored their second! After a corner, the ball fell to Christian, who finished into the net: 2-0. In the 20th minute, Botafogo reduced the deficit with Kim's goal: 2-1.

In the 38th minute, Rubro-Negro extended their lead! David dribbled past the goalkeeper and the ball fell to Lucas Vieira, who pushed it into the empty net, sealing the Rubro-Negro victory in the classic: 3-1.

Flamengo U-15 faces Madureira next Saturday (9), at 9 am, in Conselheiro Galvão, for the third round of the Copa Rio U-15.

In the Copa Rio Sub-17, Garotos do Ninho draw with Botafogo 1-1

In the second game of the day, this time in the second round of the Rio U-17 Cup, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Botafogo at CEFAT. Euder scored the red-and-black goal in the match. It's worth noting that Flamengo had a player sent off early in the second half.

The game
The match started off fiercely competitive, with intense competition for possession. Ten minutes in, Flamengo created a threat for the first time. Bill made an individual run down the left side of the halfway line, cut inside, and unleashed a powerful shot. Botafogo's goalkeeper cleared it for a corner.

The Mais Querido opened the scoring, but the referee disallowed Bill's goal. In the final stretch of the first half, Flamengo pressed their opponents and scored the first goal in the 37th minute through Euder, after a play by Jonathan on the left: 1-0. With the greater play, Flamengo finished the first half ahead.

The Nest Boys didn't let up in the second half and continued to push for a second. In the 4th minute, Bill made a solo run down the left, cut inside, and struck hard. The Black and White goalkeeper stretched to save.

Vitor Fonseca then committed a foul to stop the counterattack, receiving a second yellow card and being sent off, leaving the Red-Blacks with ten men. Despite being outnumbered, the Mais Querido (Most Beloved) didn't give up on the attack and continued to create good opportunities.

In stoppage time, Botafogo scored the equalizer through Bernardo Valim: 1-1. The classic ended all square at CEFAT.
