This week is packed with important games for Flamengo's youth football team - there will be five matches played by five age groups at the José Bastos Padilha stadium, the official ground at the Gávea headquarters.
How to watch
Fans are invited to watch the action from the stands and cheer on our Ninho Boys. There will be no admission charge. Club members can enter as usual, while non-members can enter through the entrance at Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora Square.
Retrospect
The under-20 team, which was Rio Cup champion over Botafogo, lost to Alvinegro itself in the Carioca final, on penalties, and now raises his head for his debut in the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament, one of the most traditional competitions in the junior category.
The under-17s are still in search of the Carioca title, as they were undefeated champion of the first round, the Guanabara Cup, with a victory in the final over Botafogo, 3-1. With the same score, under-15s lifted the same trophy, but against Fluminense. The two teams debut in the Taça Rio, second round of the state championship, this Wednesday (24).
The youngest have decisive classics ahead: the under-13 and under-14 teams beat Nova Iguaçu and Botafogo in the semifinals from Metropolitano and now they compete for the title against Vasco and Fluminense, respectively.
