The red-and-black youth team took to the field this Sunday (07.06) and all three teams won their matches, confirming the good form of the Flamengo boys. The U-20 team, which is missing players Jajá and Jorge, who are representing the National Team in the World Cup in the category, had its match valid for the Rio Cup. Meanwhile, the U-15 and U-17 teams played in the tenth round of the Guanabara Cup.

The U-20 team played at Estádio da Cidadania against Volta Redonda, maintaining their unbeaten run in the competition. The match ended 2-0, with goals from newcomer Robinho and Vizeu. Robinho commented on the emotion of scoring his first goal in the sacred jersey:

"I celebrated a lot. I was very happy to score my first goal for Flamengo. It was my fifth game, and I'd been looking for it. I was playing well, making plays, but I was really missing the goal. Now the anxiety has passed, I feel lighter, and I hope to have a lot of joy at this great club. It was a beautiful goal. I received the ball and hit it straight away. I have to thank my teammates. We've been playing great games," he said. 

Both the U-15 and U-17 teams played in Xerém against Fluminense. With a goal from Lincoln, the U-15 team defeated Fluminense 1-0. The U-17 team tied with Fluminense 1-1, sending the match to penalties. Once again, Fluminense prevailed.
