U-20, U-17 and U-15 teams achieved good results in the State Championship

This Saturday (07), three Flamengo youth football teams took to the field and all achieved good results.

The boys from the under-15 team faced América in the seventh round of the Guanabara Cup. With goals from Mikael (2) and Ryan, the Mais Querido had no scares and beat their opponent 3-1. Leading the Carioca and without a single defeat, the team faces, in the next round, a classic against Vasco. The match takes place next Saturday (14), at 9 am, in São Januário.

The under-17 team faced the same match, but in a different setting. In the seventh round of the Guanabara Cup, Flamengo and América finished the match tied 0-0. The rules provide for a penalty shootout, and Flamengo shone in the shootout. With a strong performance from goalkeeper Yago, who saved three shots, Flamengo won 3-0. In the next round, the boys also face Vasco. The match takes place after the under-15 game, on the same date, at São Januário, at 11:XNUMX am.

The under-20 team faced Cabofriense. Fighting to return to the top four of the Carioca Championship, the "Mais Querido" took the field needing a win. And, with a resounding score, they achieved their goal. Patrick (4), Loran, and Lucas Silva scored, and Flamengo won 2-4. The "Rubro-Negro" now sits in second place in the championship and faces Resende in the next round. The match takes place in Volta Redonda, next Wednesday (0), at 11 pm.
