In the early hours of this Saturday (20.06), the Brazilian National Team took to the field to play the final of the U-20 World Cup, in New Zealand. And, despite the players' spirit, they lost to Serbia in extra time by 2 to 1.

Rubro-Negro players Jorge and Jajá were integral to Brazil's trajectory and started in the final. The European country opened the scoring in the second half with Maksimovic. Four minutes later, Andreas Pereira equalized. The tie sent the game into overtime. With just two minutes remaining, Maksimovic scored again.

Despite losing the title, the national team's campaign was praised, and both Jorge and Jajá made a good impression. Both players scored one goal in the competition—Jorge in the semifinal against Senegal; and Jajá in the first round against North Korea.
