After leading almost the entire match against Uruguay in the Punta del Leste Under-20 National Team Tournament, the Brazilian team conceded an equalizer shortly before the end of the match. However, despite intense pressure late on, Brazil held on for a 1-1 draw at the Domingo Burgueño stadium, which took them to the final of the tournament. Three Flamengo players participated in the match: Diego Maurício, Rafael Galhardo, and Jorbison.
