The first half of the year for the red-black youth team is something to be proud of, so it's always worth recording such important moments in the careers of our athletes and, of course, in the club's history. 

On the morning of this Wednesday (27), the Garotos do Ninho and the technical committee of the Mais Querido under-15 team met at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center for the official photo of the conquest of the Nike Premier Cup, an international tournament obtained in April, at the CT of Red Bull Brasil in Janiru, in the interior of São Paulo. Coach Mario Jorge highlighted the importance of the achievement for the athletes' careers.

 "Without a doubt, this is an achievement that will mark a milestone in the careers of these young men, who are still developing. It's an important title, a first for the club, and it gives us the unique opportunity to compete at a high level abroad, experiencing new cultures and learning to face a different playing system than what we're used to in Brazil. We have everything to gain."

It's worth remembering that, after six matches without rest, Mario Jorge's men lifted the trophy in question undefeated. Anyone who thinks it stopped there is mistaken. Later this year, the "Garotos do Ninho" will travel to Austria to compete in the tournament's world final.
