Flamengo's youth academy has been racking up international titles this year across several categories. In April, the U-16 Garotos do Ninho won the 8th Hamdan International Football Championship in Dubai, defeating none other than Real Madrid in the final.

With shouts of "IT'S CHAMPION!", the athletes were welcomed on the Maracanã pitch last Sunday (10), before the match against Paraná for the Brazilian Championship, for the lap of honor, which crowned the celebrations of this very expressive title for our base. Elected the best player of the Dubai Tournament, midfielder Daniel Cabral, who had just signed his first professional contract, sees no explanation for the emotion of celebrating this title with the Nation at Maraca.

"It's an inexplicable emotion. It's great to be able to celebrate this international title with our fans; it's an emotion that can't be explained."

The season also promises a title for Mais Querido's U-16 team. In second place, and one point behind the leader, the Garotos do Ninho will fight until the end to win the Guilherme Embry Tournament, the state championship for the category.

"You can expect many achievements, great players at a high level. And we will represent Flamengo very well with great spirit, dedication, and love for the jersey," said Daniel Cabral.

Tomorrow marks a significant step forward in the Guilherme Embry Tournament standings. Undefeated in the competition with three wins and one draw, Flamengo faces Nova Iguaçu at 9 a.m. away from home in the fifth round.
