In their second game of the U-15 Rio de Janeiro State Championship, Flamengo drew 1-1 this Saturday at Gávea Stadium. Thomas Robson scored the goal for the "Mais Querido" (The Most Beloved). 

The red-black kids will return to the field next Saturday (22), to face Maricá, at the opponent's home.

The game

Just 1 minute into the game, Nova Iguaçu opened the scoring. In the 4th minute, Flamengo nearly equalized. Striker Leonardo Gabriel received the ball unmarked, but mistimed his shot. 

In the 7th minute, a rocket from No. 10 Noah put the keeper at risk. A minute later, Flamengo came close again with Leonardo Gabriel's header.

After the technical stoppage, left-back Rafael Barreto had a great opportunity.

Eager to turn the score around and with time running out, coach João Marcos made important changes throughout the second half.

At 29, the game equalized. Rafinha played a beautiful move down the left flank, and Thomas Robson, on the rebound, put it in the back of the net: 1-1.

According to the rules, in the event of a tie, the decision goes to penalties. The opponent succeeded and earned an extra point: 1-3 on penalties.
