With a strong performance, Flamengo's youth team defeated São José 3-0 in São José dos Campos. The team from Gávea missed out on the lead in Group K by one goal, but reaching seven points has virtually secured its spot in the next stage of the competition. Mogi Mirim advances as group leader.

Striker Lucas opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a beautiful header after a cross from Negueba from the right. Flamengo continued their devastating attack and quickly made it 2-0. In the 17th minute, the tables were turned. Lucas was the waiter who left Negueba well-positioned to finish. He fired a cross shot and extended the lead. The team continued to press, but the score remained unchanged in the first half.

The second half began tensely for the young Flamengo players. In the eighth minute, the referee awarded a penalty to the home team. John Lennon took the shot, but it was saved by goalkeeper Cesar. The move gave Flamengo renewed energy, and they pushed forward in search of two more goals. They scored one, through Muralha, in the 17th minute. The fourth ultimately failed to come, and now the team from Gávea awaits the results of the other groups to determine whether they will advance as one of the best second-placed teams in the competition.
