The time is now. After suffering two late draws against Goiás and Palmeiras, Flamengo's youth team has another green and white team standing in its way in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. But this time, they hope things will be different. The Red-Black team faces Coritiba today at 21 p.m. in Santa Rosa, seeking their first victory in the competition and trying to maintain at least second place in their group, which guarantees them a spot in the next stage of the tournament.

Coach Armênio Moura's team will soon undergo changes. Left winger Vitor Saba, who performed well in the first two matches, providing an assist in the first and scoring a goal in the second, has been given a starting spot in place of forward Vinícius Paquetá. Therefore, the team is expected to field Marcelo, Galhardo, Lucas, Michel, Christianno, and Anderson; Luiz Antônio, João Vitor, and Saba; Dieguinho and Diego Maurício.

"I'm starting against Coritiba, and I'm very happy. I did well in the first two games and I hope to repeat that in today's match. We need the win and we're going to look for the result that we managed to get against Goiás and Palmeiras," said Saba.

Defender Christianno believes that Flamengo will face a tough time once again, and he urges the group to be vigilant to avoid repeating the mistakes made in previous games. He believes the team is already vaccinated and eager to leave the field with a victory.

"The team is confident, because in the debut and second game we showed that the team has the potential to reach the final. We're definitely going to go after those three points today," said Cristiano.
