Being close to its official partner clubs in the youth categories is a priority for Flamengo. In an action coordinated by the human development and nutrition departments of the Flamengo youth system, nutritionist Carolina Quadros and social worker Maria Célia Gonçalves, who work at Inter de Minas, visited and were able to get to know the facilities of the George Helal Training Center.

The main objective of the meeting was the exchange of experiences between professionals from both areas. Alfredo Almeida and José Rodrigo, director and coordinator of youth football processes at Flamengo, respectively, were responsible for organizing the meetings to strengthen the relationship between the youth teams of Flamengo and Inter de Minas.

“We want the professionals from our partner clubs to actively participate in our routines, as if they were in their own workplaces. The experience with Carolina and Maria Célia was very productive and proves that closer relationships are the way to unify processes and consolidate our bonds,” says Alfredo Almeida.

Daniel Chreem, performance nutritionist for Flamengo's youth teams, met with Carolina, who is responsible for the sector at Inter de Minas, and, in addition to showing her all the structure available for the development of her work, she shared information about her routine and the methodology used to attend to the Flamengo athletes.

The production sector is another area of ​​nutrition for the youth categories. Kelly Dalva, responsible for this section, presented the conditions for the arrival, storage, and production of food in the training center's cafeteria kitchen; and the hygienic and sanitary precautions the club takes with the products supplied for meals. The integration of the sports nutrition sector with the production sector, through food ordering, was another important point discussed with the Inter de Minas nutritionist.

The social workers from Flamengo's youth categories, Amanda Caicó and Larissa Lira, were tasked with informing Maria Célia, who works in the same sector at Inter de Minas, about the procedures adopted in this area and the projects produced by the sector. Patricia Negreiros and Beatriz Silva, coordinator and pedagogue, respectively, of the human development department, were also present to detail the creation and planning of actions during the 2026 season.

In addition to Inter de Minas, Flamengo has three more official partnerships: Trieste, from Paraná; Tolentino, from Bahia; and Wilson Goiano, from Goiás. The idea is to exchange experiences in all sectors so that the athletes recruited through these partnerships arrive as prepared as possible to adapt to Flamengo.
