Without any major complications, Flamengo defeated São Cristóvão 5-2 and, with an aggregate score of 9-3, qualified for the third phase of the OPG U-20 Tournament. The goals in the match played this Saturday (7), at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea, were scored by Pablo, Alan, Camargo, David and Bill. The next opponent in the competition will be Madureira.

Comfortable with the advantage gained in the first leg, the red-and-black team started the game relaxed, passing the ball around. And their composure increased even more after just three minutes, when Pablo Lucio hit a perfect free kick into the goalkeeper's right corner, leaving no chance for a save. A stunning goal from the number 3!

São Cristóvão came close to scoring twice in a row in the 20th minute. Eduardo Jung made a great save on the first, and on the next play, he could only watch as the ball grazed his left post from a one-on-one header. The traditional team from Rio's North Zone rallied and came close again, but Flamengo's number 1 calmly saved it once again.

The play woke up Mengão, and in the 22nd minute, Alan Santos finished into the left corner after a sweet cross from Felipe Lima on the right, scoring another beautiful goal. In the 31st minute, Camargo almost got the third, but Bill fired the ball over the bar from the rebound.

Flamengo had more possession and tried to extend their lead, while São Cristóvão occasionally came close to trying to fight back. They nearly succeeded with a shot from inside the box that sailed over the goal.

Unwilling to take risks, Leonardo Ramos's team pushed the pace early in the second half, and the third goal came in the 4th minute, thanks to a fine play by Bill, who provided a perfect assist for center forward Camargo. One-on-one with the goalkeeper, the number 9 delivered a perfect shot. However, São Cristóvão pulled one back in the 11th minute.

The red-and-black attack returned to action and scored twice in three minutes. David scored the fourth in the 24th minute, following a fine play by Felipe Lima. In the 27th minute, Bill created a stunning shot, chipping the goalkeeper from the edge of the box after receiving the ball from David. Before the end of the game, in the 44th minute, São Cristóvão reduced the deficit and made it 5-2.
