The red-black U-19 team shone in its debut at the Mladen Ramljak Tournament 2023. Playing this Wednesday, in the city of Zagreb, in Croatia, Flamengo won 3-1, Rapid Vienna of Austria. Pedro Estevam, in the 24th minute of the first half, Shola and Welinton (midfield), in the 4th and 24th minutes of the second half, scored for Mengão.

In this Friday (4), Mais Querido will return to the field in group B, to face Brugge from Belgium. This year's Memorial Mladen Ramljak tournament features the participation of elite clubs in European football, such as Manchester United, along with traditional teams: Feyenoord from the Netherlands, Monaco from France and Dynamo Zagreb (home team).
