The game took place at the Orlando Scarpelli stadium in Florianópolis. But it felt like it was in Gávea, such was the Flamengo's dominance and the absurd number of scoring chances created by the "Garotos do Ninho" throughout the 90 minutes. With this scenario, the final score of Flamengo's U-20 team against Figueirense, in the fourth round of the first stage of the Brazilian Championship, could only be 3-0 (Wendel [2] and Bill). And it ended up being too little. With the result, Flamengo now has six points and is in third place in Group D, but will need a simple draw in the final round against Internacional in Rio de Janeiro to qualify for the second stage of the national competition. 

In the first minute of the game, Reinier spotted Wendel's run into the opponent's box. The pass caught Figueirense's defense by surprise, but not goalkeeper Vitor, who came out on top and punched the ball before the Figueirense striker. In the ninth minute, Klebinho took a dangerous free kick. The Boys from the Nest continued their search for the first goal, which came in the 35th minute. Klebinho made a great individual play, dribbling past three defenders, and was only stopped by the fourth with a clear foul inside the box. Wendel took the shot with great composure and skill, displacing the goalkeeper, and scored the first goal for the Figueirense team of the game.

The second came soon after. In the 37th minute, Bill beat his marker on the iron foot and sprinted into the box. Vitor made the save, and on the rebound, Wendel again struck on the turn to extend the lead for the Mais Querido, who continued to attack. In the 41st minute, Vitor Gabriel carried the ball from midfield and was fouled on the edge of the box. Michael fired over the bar. 

In the second half, Flamengo continued to create more chances. In the fourth minute, Klebinho passed to Vitor Gabriel. The center forward dribbled past the goalkeeper, but lost the angle and shot wide. In the 11th minute, Klebinho passed to Wendel. He burst into the box and fired a left-footed shot. Vitor stretched out and saved Figueirense from conceding a third. In the 13th minute, Matheus unleashed a powerful shot, and Yago Darub, who had come on for the injured Hugo Souza, made a crucial save. 

Flamengo was the better team on the field, and the third goal was ripe for development. In the 15th minute, Bill fired a shot from the edge of the box, but Vitor, the home team's key player, saved it. In the 17th minute, Flamengo failed to extend their lead thanks to two miracles. The first came after Reinier's deliberate header, which hit the post. Following the move, Reinier again took a shot, but Vitor made another great save. The following minute, Vitor Gabriel wasted a great chance. 

Knowing the importance of goal difference in the final round against Internacional, the Ninho Boys sought to increase their lead at all costs. In the 26th minute, Wendel passed to Klebinho, who passed to Bill, who shot, but Vitor saved it again. The rebound was cleared by the defense on the line. The third took a while, but finally came in the 31st minute. And what a goal! Bill stole the ball, went up against his marker, beat two men, and slotted it past the goalkeeper, who this time could do nothing but retrieve the ball from the back of the net. In the 34th minute, Wendel shot from the edge of the box, and Vitor made the save. It was the last dangerous play of the game.
