After a goalless draw with América-MG, Flamengo will have an important match in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, against Cruzeiro, the current leader of the competition, with 11 points. The match, valid for the sixth round, will be played this Wednesday (16), at 15 pm, at Toca da Raposa I, in Belo Horizonte. Rubro-Negro has seven points (two wins, two losses and one draw) and occupies the tenth place.
The new addition will be Nuno Campos' presence on the field. The Portuguese coach led Flamengo's U-20 team's first training session on March 25th, but he was not yet authorized by the CBF to operate on the sidelines. The coach will be without four players, who have been handed over to the medical department.
The absences are goalkeeper Lucas Furtado (viral infection); defender Carbone (right ankle injury); midfielder Pablo Lúcio (left ankle injury); and striker Felipe Teresa, who is recovering from a right femoral biceps injury sustained in the U-20 Libertadores final on March 16.
The red-black delegation is already in Belo Horizonte, the location of the last training session before the match against Cruzeiro. The activity was held late morning this Tuesday (15), at Arena da Bola, in Confins, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte.
