And the first commitment will be this Thursday (6), when the team will face Atlético-MG in the return match of the Copa do Brasil, at 16:30 pm, at Estádio Luso Brasileiro, on Ilha do Governador, with transmission on Sportv. In the first leg, played in Belo Horizonte, Rubro-Negro was defeated 2-0.
Coach Bruno Pivetti concluded this Wednesday (5) the preparation for the match with the Minas Gerais team. The coach led an activity at CT George Helal and finalized the last adjustments aiming to take away the opponent's advantage to reach the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil Sub-20.
After fighting to reach the next phase of the national tournament, Flamengo will face Botafogo in the second duel for the Carioca Sub-20 semifinals. The match is scheduled for next Sunday (9), at 10 am, at Estádio José Bastos Padilha, in Gávea. Defeated 3-0 on the synthetic pitch of Estádio Nilton Santos, Rubro-Negro needs to win by the same three goals difference to compete in the title decision, as it plays for two equal results, having had a better campaign in Taça Guanabara.
