The Brazilian U-17 team won the South American Championship in the category on Saturday night (09.04) and had as its main highlight the Flamengo midfielder, Adryan, who with the number 10 shirt showed off his talent and enchanted everyone who watched the competition, held in Ecuador, up close. From Rio de Janeiro, the red-black's teammates and friends followed the midfielder's exploits and cheered on every move by Adryan.

Junior midfielder Caio Quiroga, one of the main players in Flamengo's youth team, summed up in a few words the feelings of his teammates as they watched Adryan's achievement with the Yellow Shirt.

"I've been watching Adryan's games and I'm very happy that he's representing Flamengo well, not only in the South American Championship, but around the world. We always comment internally and praise his work and dedication, which grows with each game. This makes us very happy and motivates us to continue pursuing our dream," said the midfielder, who wants to return to the national team and play alongside his teammate.

"I intend to play with him there too. But may God's will and the coach's will be done. I've been there before, but I wasn't with him. It would be an honor to play alongside Adryan on the national team. I'm working every day to make that happen."

Pleased with the good work he has done at Flamengo's youth academy, Quiroga says he is ready to mature even further and perhaps one day reach the Flamengo professional ranks.

"I'm very happy to be part of Flamengo's youth academy. I see the youth academy growing and gaining more and more recognition. This is very important for everyone there, including me, and I hope it continues to grow. This moment greatly values ​​everyone's work and prepares us for the professional stage," he said.
