U-14, U-15 and U-17 teams debut in traditional competitions this week; Youth and Children's A are also in the Carioca semifinals

The coming days promise plenty of excitement for the young athletes at the youth level of the red-and-black soccer team. The under-14 (Under-15 B), under-17 (Under-01.07 A), and under-02.07 (Juvenile) teams will be making their competition debuts in their respective categories. In addition to these new additions, the Juvenile and Infantil A teams will also compete for a spot in the Guanabara Cup finals this Wednesday (July 10) and Thursday (July 04), against Fluminense and Nova Iguaçu, respectively, both at 05.07 a.m., at the Gávea headquarters. If they qualify, the first-round decision for each category will be a single game on the weekend (July XNUMX and XNUMX).

Sub-17
On Thursday, July 9th, the Juvenil team will debut in the traditional Taça BH. The competition is a Junior competition, but Flamengo will field an under-17 team, a semifinalist in the Copa do Brasil in that category in March of this year. The championship features groups of five teams, with the top two teams at the end of the first phase qualifying. Flamengo is in Group 7, alongside Coritiba, Sport Recife, Chapecoense, and Social-MG. All qualifying matches will be held at Paulo Campos Stadium in São João Del Rei, Minas Gerais. Flamengo has won the Taça BH three times, in 1986, 2003, and 2007, reaching six finals (1990, 1999, and 2012).

The U-19 Brazil A team travels to the 15th Brazilian Children's Football Cup in Laranjal Paulista, in the interior of São Paulo state. This competition is similar to the Votorantim Cup in Minas Gerais, with Flamengo as the current champion. The U-7 Brazil Cup takes place from July 24th to XNUMXth. Teams are divided into four groups of four, and the top two teams in the qualifying round qualify. Match times and dates are yet to be determined.
Sub-14
The Infantil B team debuts this Wednesday (July 01.07st) in the Copa 2 de Julho in Bahia. The teams are divided into groups of five teams each, and the top two teams at the end of the first phase qualify. Flamengo is in Group D, alongside Bahia, Galícia, Atlântico, and Juazeiro. All qualifying matches will be held at Pituaçu Stadium.
