Flamengo's under-15 boys made their BH Cup debut on Sunday morning (December 07.12th) in Belo Horizonte. The team faced América-MG and drew 0-0 at Toca da Raposa 1, where the competition, organized by Cruzeiro, is held. It is worth noting that the Rubro-Negro was without Wesley, Athirson, Patrick, Leandro, Vinicius and Lincoln, who are defending the Brazilian National Team in the same competition.

This year, the championship brings together Flamengo, Corinthians, América-MG, Palmeiras, Atlético-MG, Cruzeiro, Cruzeiro Internacional, Desportivo Brasil, Chivas, from Mexico, and the Brazilian National Team. With six red-and-black athletes, Canarinho beat Cruzeiro Internacional 3-2. This Monday morning (08.12), at 10:30 am, Flamengo returns to the field to face Desportivo Brasil (SP), in the second round.

The BH Cup features players aged 15 and under and will be played at Toca da Raposa I in Belo Horizonte from the 07th to the 14th of this month. Ten teams will compete in the 10th edition of the tournament, divided into two groups. Flamengo is in Group 1, along with hosts Cruzeiro, Corinthians, América-MG, and Desportivo Brasil (SP).

U-20 loses in the Brazilian Championship
The Juniors took to the field for the second round of the Brazilian Championship in their category and lost 2-1 to Atlético-PR. The Paraná team opened the scoring with Juninho, and Cafu pulled one back for Flamengo. In the 47th minute of the second half, a penalty was awarded to the opponent, converted by Bruno Mota. The Rubro-Negro, with one point and in fourth place, returns to the field on Tuesday (December 09.12), at 17:30 pm, against Figueirense, at Estádio do Vale, in Novo Hamburgo.
