Flamengo's futsal team started the 2019 season at full speed. Last week, the results were the best possible and Flamengo went undefeated in all categories. Competing in Rio Futsal, the Under-6/7 Copa Zero team beat Marã 2-1 and Fluminense 5-1, finishing the first phase undefeated.

In the special gold series, Mais Querido faced Barra Mansa away from home. In the U-8 category, the team demonstrated superiority on the court, achieving a resounding 7-2 victory. The U-10 team repeated the feat, also crushing the home team 7-2, demonstrating the red-and-black team's good form. Finally, the U-12 team put on a strong offensive performance, outscoring Barra Mansa 11-4. 

In the gold series, Flamengo faced Madureira in three categories. The U-9 group emerged victorious with a score of 4-1. The U-11 group, despite a struggle, ended in a 5-5 draw, and the U-13 group performed well, crowning it with a 3-1 victory. 

Rounding out the week's results, the U-7 team made its debut in the federation's futsal competition in the best possible way. Facing Jequiá at home, the Garotos do Ninho earned a massive 7-0 victory.
