Champion of the OPG Tournament this season, Flamengo's junior number 10 was called up to the Brazilian National Team in the category last Wednesday (29.04), next to the full-back Jorge. The red-blacks are part of the group that will compete in the U-20 World Cup, in New Zealand, between May 30th and June 20th this year.

The happy young athlete confesses that the feeling is one of duty fulfilled. "It was a wonderful feeling. I was really looking forward to this call-up. I've been doing my job well at Flamengo, helping my team, and I'm very confident," said the midfielder, who promises to continue working hard at the club. "I thank those who have always supported me and sent me messages, and I hope to reciprocate all this affection. I will always do my best to help Flamengo," he assured.

Jajá also looks ahead. Aware of all that an international trip as part of the Brazilian delegation can offer, the young man celebrates. "I believe I'll gain a lot of experience from this competition. I'll learn a lot and use it all when I play professionally," he concluded.
