Kadu Borges, the academy's technical coordinator, highlighted Mais Querido's expanding network of contacts to bring new talent from the Northeast to Gávea. The team won the Rede Ball championship despite missing six players, who played for the Brazilian national team in the BH Cup. The situation ended up being a positive one for all the players.
