In the Rio de Janeiro clash, Flamengo defeated Botafogo 3-1 and secured a spot in the quarterfinals. Ryan Pablo scored in the 11th minute of the first half, and Levi and Pauaca scored in the 33rd and 40th minutes of the second half.
U13s and U14s win big in the GB Cup
Also playing this Sunday morning, Flamengo U-13 defeated Botafogo 6-0 in the fifth round of the Metropolitan Championship. The match was part of the fifth round of the Guanabara Cup. In the Under-14 category, Mengão also beat Botafogo, by a score of 4-0.
