Copa Fla celebrates 10 years of success
Four teams take action this Saturday in Gávea
By Media Relations - inThe Gávea stadium is preparing to host the Copa Fla, which enters its quarterfinal and semifinal rounds on Saturday (December 04.12th) starting at 8 a.m. The event, which has been running since April, brings together more than 700 children from Flamengo's affiliated schools. The Copa Fla finals are scheduled for December 4th.
\"This year, because of the World Cup, we held the Fla World Cup. Each school (franchise) represented a team that participated in the World Cup. The national anthem and Flamengo's anthem will be celebrated at the opening of the event. Soon after, the competitions begin. On the 4th, the finals will be held, and we will also have the Chupetinha and Fraldinha categories," said José Martins, executive director of Escolinhas Fla.
\Next Saturday, the pre-junior, junior, junior, and youth teams will take the field determined to secure more victories for Flamengo. The event, which will feature mascots Uruba and Urubinha, as well as the lively Charanga, will take place from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m.
