In the under-17 category, the red-black team won 1-0 against their rival, with a goal from João Vitor. In the under-15 category, the adverse score was 3-0.

In a closely contested match, Flamengo's under-17 team secured an early victory. Rafinha passed to João Vitor, who scored the only goal in the victory against Vasco in the ninth minute of the first half. With the result, coach Daniel Franklin's team reached 17 points in the first stage of the Copa Rio competition for the category.

In the Rio U-15 Cup, Flamengo was defeated 3-0 by Vasco da Gama in another match held this Saturday in Gávea. The red-and-black team remained on 17 points and lost third place in the qualifying round to their rival, who now has 18 points.
