Playing away from home on Monday afternoon in the Rio Sub-20 Cup, Flamengo was defeated by Volta Redonda, by a score of 3 to 1. Christian scored the red-black goal in the game.

The match was part of the fourth round of the competition. Despite the negative result, Flamengo remained at the top of Group B with 9 points (3 wins and 1 loss).

The team's next commitment will take place next Saturday (12), when they will face Nova Iguaçu, at 10 am, in Gávea.
