Dates for the Copa Rio U-15 and U-17 semi-finals are set
While in the U-15s the Garotos do Ninho face Vasco, the U-17s will face Botafogo
By Victor andrade - inThe Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation (FFERJ) released this week the dates, times and locations of the semi-finals of the Copa Rio Sub-15 and Sub-17. While the team led by Filipe Luís plays this Saturday (24) against Botafogo, in Gávea, the team led by Vinicius Durante enters the field for the competition only next week, against Vasco.
The postponement of the Copa Rio U-15 semifinals was due to the NP Cup for that category, held in São Paulo. The four clubs that qualified for the semifinals of the regional competition—Flamengo, Botafogo, Fluminense, and Vasco—are also playing in São Paulo. Therefore, the first knockout match between "Mais Querido" and Vasco will be on Thursday, June 30th, at 10 a.m. in Gávea, with the decisive match taking place on Sunday, June 02nd, at 06 a.m. at the Artsul training center.
The U-17 dates were maintained: Mengão has home advantage in the first semi-final game against Botafogo, on Saturday (24), at 15 pm in Gávea. The second match will be at CEFAT, on 01/06, also at 15 pm.
