In the fifth round of the Carioca Sub-17, Flamengo beat Bangu 2-1 on Saturday morning (11), at CEFAN. Mengão's goals were scored by Victor Hugo and Petterson, both in the second half. With the result, Rubro-Negro remains in the lead and with 100% success in the championship, totaling 15 points.

The game
The match started with a lively pace, with Flamengo taking the initiative and gaining more momentum. The Ninho Boys kept passing the ball around the attacking half, trying to break through Bangu's defense. In the 29th minute, JP saved a ball on the line, preventing a goal.

At 38', Bangu took the lead with Jordan: 1-0. In a first half with few clear chances to score, the red-black team went into the break at a disadvantage.

In the second half, the game remained quite open, with Bangu also looking to attack. In the eighth minute, Flamengo had a great opportunity. Matheus Gonçalves delivered a beautiful pass to Vitor Muller, who controlled the ball with his chest inside the box, but shot over the goal.

In the 15th minute, Mengão equalized. Vitor Muller, from inside the box, fired a powerful shot toward goal. The goalkeeper rebounded the ball to Victor Hugo, who tapped it in first time to make it 1-1. In the 27th minute, Flamengo turned the game around with Petterson! Victor Hugo delivered a beautiful pass to the number 11, who was well-positioned inside the box, and fired it past the goalkeeper to make it 2-1.

Another victory for Mais Querido, who showed their power to react and won the comeback match at CEFAN, reaching 15 points in the Guanabara Cup and maintaining their lead in the competition.

Next appointment
The Garotos do Ninho return to the field next Friday (17) to face Botafogo, at 13 pm, at CEFAT, for the sixth round of the Carioca Sub-17.
