Your arrival
"I arrived at the end of 2012, during the Under-8s. I went for my first tryout and passed. I remember coming home incredibly excited because I was going to play for Flamengo. There weren't many championships, as I arrived at the end of the year. In 2013, with the Under-9s, I played directly with the group."

Professional debut
"I was warming up, watching the game. I didn't expect him (Gabriel Noga) to get injured, a moment of misfortune. I didn't expect to be on the field, because it's rare for a defender to be substituted. So at the same time, for me, it was also a moment of enormous happiness, being able to wear the Flamengo jersey and make my debut. I would have liked it to be at the Maracanã, with a full house, but God wanted it to be in Volta Redonda, and it was a source of pride for my family to see me play professionally on television."

Relationship with Mario Jorge

"I've known Mario and his staff for a long time, so that makes things much easier on the field. In the U-20s, we see the results, and the whole group knows him very well, knows what he likes, how he plays. That helps us a lot."
