With a strong collective performance and individual brilliance from Diego Maurício, Flamengo's youth team thrashed Boavista 7-1 at Gávea. The striker scored three times, while right-back Galhardo, defensive midfielder Lenon, midfielder Ricardinho, and center forward Vinícius Paquetá completed the scoring. The rout leaves the Flamengo team with 16 points (five wins, one draw, and one loss in seven games).

Galhardo was the maestro of the victory. The full-back, in addition to scoring a beautiful goal, provided three assists. The player celebrated the team's excellent performance and stated that the team is increasingly motivated in the fight for the Taça Rio title, the second round of the Carioca Championship in this category.
