On the night of last Thursday (12.12), Flamengo lost to Vitória by 2 to 1, at the Passo D'Areia Stadium, in Porto Alegre, in a game valid for the fourth round of the first phase of the Brazilian Sub-20. The goal of the Rubro-Negro carioca was scored by Darlan.

The first half ended 2-0 for Vitória. Fernandinho even hit the post, and before halftime, Flamengo's number 10 said the team lacked composure.

"We're a little bit flustered, up there, but we'll try to get it right and get a draw. One more win and we'll be through," he said.

In the 30th minute of the second half, Flamengo took the first step toward a comeback. Darlan received the ball from Cafu on the right and pulled one back for Vitória. The two players who came off the bench showed they were eager to play, but it wasn't enough to turn the score around, and the match ended 2-1 to Vitória. Flamengo now needs to win its next match, against Náutico, on Saturday (14.12/XNUMX), to secure qualification for the next round.

"The coach tried to talk to us to decide (the classification) quickly in this game, but it ended up being left until the last. We'll do our best in the last round to get the classification," said Cafu.

Flamengo is in second place in Group B, with six points.
