In the 13th round of the Brasileirão Sub-20, Flamengo beat Chapecoense 3-0 on Sunday afternoon (22), in Gávea. The Rubro-Negro's goals were scored by Mateus Dias, twice, and Ítalo. With the result, the Garotos do Ninho reached their tenth game unbeaten and climbed a few positions in the championship standings.

The game
The Boys from the Nest began the first half working possession in Chapecoense's midfield. In the 11th minute, Rodrigo Muniz received the ball at the edge of the penalty area and took a shot. The goalkeeper jumped to the corner and made the save. While Flamengo sought to attack on the wings, the Santa Catarina team closed in deep and exploited counterattacks to score.

In the 36th minute, Gabriel Barros arrived from the right and crossed into the middle of the box. Rodrigo Muniz struck first time, and the ball went over the goal. Muniz then again frightened the Chapecoense goalkeeper with a header that went just wide. Despite the team's dominance, the first half ended 0-0.

In the second half, Chapecoense loosened up a bit and began exchanging passes in the red-and-black midfield. Flamengo, in turn, continued exchanging passes to try to find space in the opposing defense, which was tightly packed. And it worked! In the 16th minute, Mengão opened the scoring. The Santa Catarina team played the ball poorly, but Rodrigo Muniz capitalized and passed to Mateus Dias, who shot from outside the box and the ball went in: 1-0.

In the 31st minute, the Boys from the Nest scored their second! Mateus Dias grabbed the rebound from the goalkeeper and pushed it into the back of the net: 2-0. And there was still time for another! In the 35th minute, Ítalo received the ball on the left side of the penalty area, made three cuts to the defense and unleashed a bomb to extend the lead: 3-0.

For the rest of the match, Fla managed the advantage and left the field with an important victory, which made them climb a few places in the league table.
