The duel was a lively affair with numerous goals and excitement right to the end. Early in the match, 30 seconds in, Arthur opened the scoring for the Greatest in the World. In the 35th minute, Lázaro extended the lead, putting the Red-Blacks in a strong position. It's worth noting that this division features two 40-minute halves. Arthur, scorer of the first Rubro-Negro goal, spoke after the victory.

"It's a huge thrill. My first title with Flamengo. The coach always tells me to play with determination and focus. I was focused at that moment and managed to put the ball in the net and pave the way for the title. Tomorrow is another game. That's what a player's life is like: one day you're a champion and the next game you're back," the athlete highlighted.

Coach Carlos Eduardo Patetuci also commented on the game.

"We're very happy. This is a different group, new, the 2001 generation. Hard-working kids. It was deserved because it's a group that's being built. A lot of new players arrived this year and with a lot of quality. Happy, because the Guanabara Cup gives us the right to play in the state final. Now we're going after the title. Flamengo is like that, training and winning," said the coach.
