Mengão debuted in the Brasileirão Sub-20 away from home against Red Bull Bragantino, on the afternoon of this Friday (20), and the Garotos do Ninho will return to Rio with the victory and the first 3 points in the competition in the bag. With the goals of the match scored by the debutant Josmar, who hit the nets twice, Guilherme, Ryan Roberto, Gusttavo and an own goal, Flamengo won 6x4 against the home team at CPD Atibaia, in São Paulo.

The game

The first big chance of the game came for the home team. In the 2nd minute, Gabriel Lopes took a powerful shot from the edge of the box, and Leo Nannetti prevented what would have been the first goal of the game.

In the 11th minute, during a counter-attack led by Guilherme, Flamengo had its first clear chance after the number 10 passed to Josmar, but the opposing goalkeeper made the save. At the 25th minute, Josmar and the opposing goalkeeper were again one-on-one, and this time, the number 9 was more fortunate. He put the ball in the right corner, beating Rafael Monteiro, and the score was opened in Atibaia. First game and first goal in the Flamengo jersey for him!

Flamengo continued attacking and neutralizing the opponent's offensive actions, who managed to build plays, but without posing a great danger to Leo Nannetti's goal. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, Mengão scored their second goal and now, the roles were reversed: Guilherme, who had assisted Josmar on the first goal, received a pass from the number 9 between the opposing lines, went one-on-one with the goalkeeper and with a shot into the right corner, the red-and-black advantage in the match was extended.

After the break, the second half began with pure intensity. The home team scored two goals in 5 minutes, equalizing with goals from Paulinho and Gabriel Lopes. But the red-and-black team didn't give up, and in the 8th minute, Josmar scored another goal after a corner kick from Alan Santos, restoring the lead to the red-and-black team. However, in the 15th minute, Yuri Lélis equalized again for Red Bull Bragantino.

At 17 minutes, after a cross from Gusttavo, who came on in the second half, the ball found Ryan Roberto in the middle of the area, who beat two defenders and shot hard to score Flamengo's fourth goal of the game. Flamengo continued to look to extend their lead and in the 31st minute they succeeded. In an individual play by Gusttavo on the right, the number 13 dribbled past two defenders and finished strongly to score the fifth goal for the Flamengo youth team.

Flamengo further increased the score with an own goal in the 43rd minute of the second half, and the opponent sealed the victory in the 45th minute, scoring their fourth goal of the match with number 14, Breno.
